Christmas Day Delight with my sons: Orion's Roof is a beautiful rooftop restaurant nicely decorated for the holidays with gorgeous views of the ocean. Our server Dustin was friendly, helpful, and highly attentive. Our drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived in perfect timing. His recommendations were highly accurate. The food ranks among the highest we have ever enjoyed. One of my sons said the food rivaled the Michelin 2-star restaurant he ate at in Argentina last week! We had the duck, Singapore noodles, prime rib, and an Asian alfredo type dish. All were impeccably prepared to perfection. The food melted in our mouths. The overall ambiance was so pleasant, and the manager had a good presence checking in as we arrived and left. While it is more than we usually spend, it was worth the extra money to have an incredibly high level of culinary ability and the superior waitstaff of Dustin.

Took our two boys (12 & 7) for a Christmas Eve Dinner. While my husband and I have dined here before, this was a first for us to bring the kids and I was blown away by how accommodating and kind they were to our family of 4. Yes, they offer kids menus and crayons (we did not know this before booking the reservation! ) The owner came to visit our table several times and took our boys to see the kitchen and meet the team! The kids tried most of the appetizers that my husband and I ordered and surprisingly loved many of the dishes! When we asked them about their favorite part- it was meeting the chef and owner and his kitchen! What the staff may not know is that my husband is also in the industry. This was a late reservation because our family from out of town got sick and couldn’t visit. This was one of the best nights we have had in a while as a family and the staff and owner couldn’t have made it more special! For reference- we ordered the oysters, she crab soup and shrimp (10/10) and the scallops (cooled perfectly) and olive appetizer (flavors were delicious!) Ask for an order of bread and butter. Its not on the menu but all of us thoroughly enjoyed it! We also got the mushroom pasta and the crab cakes. The pasta wasn’t as good as some of the pasta dishes we have had in past visits, but overall the food and service continues to be outstanding! Thank you Chef, owner and wife and the rest of the staff! We know you have families that waited for you to come home tonight and truly appreciate the memory you made for our family !

Food is consistently excellent though one person did not like the Barbeque Ranch salad was up to par. Our service was outstanding. But, it can get noisy when the place fills up.

Our server, Jeremy, was friendly, accommodating and ensured our dinner was exactly what we wanted, how we wanted it. He was moving quickly between tables, yet made everyone (we watched) in our area feel important and welcome. Chefs delivered our plates with a smile! Merry Christmas Cavalier! See you in 2025💕🤣

Excellent meals were had by all! The shrimp and grits were amazing! So was the fresh catch, chicken parm, beef stroganoff and the pasta! Always excellent food and service.
