- SStephGreater Boston •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024I love this restaurant, but the last few visits there’s been a problem with the food temperature. I had short ribs and my short ribs were impeccable. The temperature was perfect, but all the other pieces with it ….the purée,the carrots and the potatoes were all cool. They were not anywhere near warm enough so they’ve got to figure that out…. maybe warming up the plates? On my last visit my soup was cool and I should’ve sent it back, but of course the dishes are so beautifully plated and the soup had decorations on top, but I’m not the only one that has had a problem with temperature. I was at lunch with a friend and she had the same problem with her soup so the cook must get a plan. I can’t be the only one that’s having problems with the food temperature. - DDeniseMaine •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2024It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.More infoJordan Pond HousePrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•4.1
