The deck that wraps around the conservatory offers a rare opportunity in land-locked Oxford to dine outside with an idyllic view.     We went for a glorious Sunday afternoon walk around Christchurch Meadows and had a cream tea at Quod. The scones were fresh, still warm and delicious. Wonderful thick cream and sticky strawberry jam, heaven. Quod is beautiful at Christmas equisite in its tasteful decorations, enhancing its ambiance and the beauty of its building. Service polite. Highly recommended.

    We booked at Gees for our Christmas Dinner at 1 pm. The service was very attentive and the food, exceptional!! I would go as far as to say that this was one of the BEST Christmas Dinners that we have ever had; it truly was a lovely experience, with the food being outstanding.

    We had a really nice meal,the server was fantastic and very helpful,and the restaurant not too crowded and really relaxing.Food was very good and well seasoned and spiced,devilled kidneys perfect ,but alittle too much salt in the rabbit,which was also very good.oysters were perfect,my wife had moules ,perfect,her lemon sole a little bland,but then lemon sole is.overall,most enjoyable and really pleasant meal.
