The Chef’s Choice 8-Course Meal is a culinary masterpiece—each dish more incredible than the last. The food is fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented. The staff are phenomenal—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience. Every visit feels magical, and we leave counting down the days until our next one. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Austin, El Raval is it. Highly recommend the 8-course menu—you won’t regret it!More infoEl RavalPrice: Expensive• Spanish• South Austin•4.7
- LLaureenAustin •16 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024As always, a fabulous experience. Go early if you like a quiet vibe, once it fills up the conversations around you can be loud. But not the music. The bar seating is also very nice.More infoCafe MaltaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• South Austin•4.4

- PPatriciaVancouver / British Columbia •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We were drawn back by the menu descriptions in the February newletter and so started with the La Catrina Negra drink. The marigold flower powder was a very fun addition. The Queso appetizer was wrapped in hoja santa leaves that our server told us were grown in Chef Iliana’s own garden. The Estofado Istmeno was also delicious. The crowning touch was the Tamal de Chocolate with orange blossom ice cream. We like the ice cream so much we ordered an extra bowl. Can’t wait to see the next newsletter to see what we’ll be ordering during our next visit.More infoEl Naranjo - South LamarPrice: Expensive• Traditional Mexican• South Austin•4.8
