Restaurants near Loring Park

Our "go to" fine dining restaurant in the inland empire. Sexy, romantic, classy.

I thought the lasagna was not very Italian. Too much meat and a good Italian tomato lasagna sauce was missing. Fresh made sauce from esp Heirloom tomatoes seemed to be missing in action.

Had a great time here. We never felt rushed or under pressure to order something. Chips and salsa came right away and were delicious. We ordered the "grande" margaritas and were disappointed when they came, they seemed like regular size to me. Then our server, Stephen, came and told us that he messed up and would be giving us a free refill. Problem solved. We had the guacamole appetizer and honestly it was probably the best guac we've ever had (and we have it a lot). Our entrees were equally delicious. I had a basic taco salad and my wife had the fish of the day, salmon, and both were fantastic. Not sure what it is they put on their food but there's something that kicks it up a notch from other Mexican restaurants. We were there during the "Festival of Lights at the mission and everything lit up as we were eating making it even more festive. Prices are a little steep for me but were expected.

Wonderful setting, fantastic food and our waiter was really wonderful. He (Arturo?) was so patient with us and our senior minds- changing drinks and asking him questions. He delighted our friend by letting her try to speak Spanish! Thank you for a great memory!

We got there at 3pm. There was no need for reservation. We were the only people there. The ambience is wonderful. The prices were shocking as always nowadays, but a little less so due to happy hour. I had the sliders and truffle fries, they were delicious.Service was wonderful. The entire staff was happy and attentive. The place is clean. Overall it was a lovely experience.
