Skyviews Restaurant is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant designed and operated to provide a hospitality laboratory experience for up to 50 students each week. While you are enjoying an excellent meal in the lovely surroundings, students are developing skills and applying knowledge.     Every aspect of the dining experience was spot on, which is especially impressive considering it was Valentine night and the restaurant was packed. Service and food were above average, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the exceptional meal we enjoyed. Double Nickel is a jewel in Lubbock’s crown!

    We came here for Valentine’s Day, and the food was exceptional. The service was great. We would definitely come back.  I love the fact that I can bring my own wine because I’m a little bit picky about that but the $10 corking fee is too high.

    Our experience at Claraboya was superb. The greeting at entry and by the wait staff was friendly and genuine. Drinks and food was delivered in a timely manner and all were extremely good. From the first bite, we both agreed...."we are coming back here!"

    Food was delicious! The hummus is so flavorful! Doesn't taste so typical. The pork chop was cooked to leave a faint pink, very, very moist and a delicious crust. Veggies were also well pan roasted with good color and flavor.
