    This was my first time here. Made Valentine’s Day reservations. We were seated immediately, seating was comfortable and we were seated next to a window by the patio which was cool because they had fires on the patio and it made where we were sitting more romantic. They went the extra mile and gave every woman a long stem nice quality rose. All the staff was super nice and helpful with suggestions. Neither of us have done “farm to table” before. They had many options that sounded good and we both had to choose and needed up getting the same thing. The food was great, I couldn’t eat it fast enough 😅 it was a bit pricey but that’s to be expected with the farm to table stuff I assume. Wasn’t so expensive though. We decided we want to go back and try other options soon. Also the interior design was gorgeous. Very cozy ambiance. I definitely recommend trying The Lodge at least once if you are in the Pasadena area. It’s right where green turtle used to be. I would like to thank The Lodge for their help in making our first Valentine’s Day date together a memorable experience

    Four lady friends went to Arturo's on 2/13/25. We made reservations for 6:30pm. We had a nice table and excellent service. Our cocktails were large and among the best we've had. Our meals were tasty, cooked perfectly and large portions, One friend was able to have risotto made to her taste by picking the ingredients. My lobster and linguine fra diavola special was excellent and reasonably priced at $40. I took half of it home. Another friend had the rib eye steak which was just right. Everyone left happy and vowed to return.

    My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at The Ruxton on a random Monday night, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. We went with a mix of appetizers—grilled oysters, potato gnocchi in sage brown butter with goat cheese, Wagyu beef sliders, and king crab cocktail. It was a completely random selection, but every dish was outstanding. The gnocchi was rich and perfectly balanced, the Wagyu sliders were incredibly flavorful, and the king crab was fresh and sweet. All of it was complemented beautifully by a fantastic Sancerre. What truly elevated the evening, though, was our server, Sammy. Not only did Sammy provide exceptional service, but we also had a great conversation throughout the night. Engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, Sammy made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to have such a combination of incredible food and outstanding hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning—and when I do, I’ll be asking for Sammy!
