Restaurants near Maryvale Park

This is my favorite restaurant in downtown Phoenix. I have been coming since I covered it as a reporter years ago when it opened. I enjoyed my favorite dish—fish and chips—while looking out at the Phoenix Suns crowd I would be joining afterwards right across the street!

The best meal we have ever had in Arizona, perhaps anywhere EVER! We started with the Large Seafood Tower, We also had Filet Mignon with Chimichurri Sauce and side of mushrooms, the Filet was the best! Prepared perfectly, 2 in our party asked for medium rare and we shared a medium and WOW. On point. Twice stuffed Lobster Baked Potato was such a rich delicious add on. The service was the best I have ever experienced. We loved the beautiful ambiance and the quiet atmosphere to converse with friends. Im without words....11 out of 10!!

EVERYTHING was exceptional, from the valet, to the door person, to the hostess, to the wait staff and attendants, to the manager that checked in on us ….ALL made this one of my most memorable dining experiences ever!!! Steak 44 is the most delicious steak house I’ve ever been to!!! Can’t wait to get back to Steak 44!😋💕

Wow! A well thought out menu and consistently executed deliciousness in each dish. All starters and mains had well balanced flavor and were cooked to perfection. We had a table of 6 with many of us ordering the same starters and mains, each plate was exactly the same from seasoning to presentation. Tasty cocktails where you can taste the ingredients not just the alcohol. To top it off, from the moment we walked in we were cared for in every interaction from the hostess to the servers. Thanks to the Henry team for a fantastic night!

An Unforgettable Dining Experience! Sandfish Sushi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, the ambiance was welcoming and sophisticated. Instead of choosing from the menu, we decided to let the chef take the lead—and wow, what a decision that was! Every dish was a masterpiece, carefully crafted with the freshest ingredients and incredible attention to detail. The chef’s selections took us on a culinary journey, introducing us to flavors and combinations we never would’ve thought to try. Each bite was a delightful surprise, and you could taste the passion and creativity behind every plate. The service was impeccable, with the staff making us feel like VIPs the entire evening. If you’re looking for more than just a meal, but an experience, Sandfish Sushi is it. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back soon!
