From the moment you step in, you'll be surrounded by the rustic charm of traditional agave fields, where the magic of mezcal and tequila comes to life. Our skilled bartenders create exquisite cocktails that perfectly complement our exclusive selection of Tahona-made mezcal and tequila, all served in a luxurious and sophisticated setting that will leave you in awe. Very expensive, but then its Kobe Steak. Spartan private cubicle each, excellent service. Ordered al la cart- 400g ribeye about$350……ordered nigiri , one rice, one fries , 3 glasses wine….. bill about$500 We felt the wine was a small amount, and the “veg “ that we paid extra for was absurdly small.. It was all about the experience of eating Kobe steak and we loved it as it was a very special occasion.

I had a ten hour connection in Tokyo so I went into the city for sushi. Takaya was a terrific choice. Delicious fresh fish combined with a friendly relaxed attitude. I was a bit apprehensive about dining alone, but the chef made me feel welcome, and I had fun chatting with him. Tip: the seats at the far right side of the counter have a direct view of the chef preparing sushi, which was fascinating.

A very enjoyable and memorable experience with friends. The food was very good and the service was friendly and easy going. The full course menus are very filling. Value for the many was very good compared to many other major cities outside of Japan with the same type of food offering. I would recommend this place for small group gatherings.

Was so great to return to Fukuzushi after not being back in Japan since 2019. While they’ve moved to a newer and smaller location, felt it was more intimate than years past, and the quality of sushi, friendliness of chef and his wife, made it so welcoming and familiar again. Reminded me why I used to frequent the restaurant years ago. Looking forward to returning again in my future trips to Tokyo.
