The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

Our patio and balcony over looking the bar is among our customers favorite requests for lunch and dinner seating, while the wine cellar has two of the most romantic tables in the area. Everything was on point. Friendly hostess sat us promptly and addressed our parking concerns. Happy birthday name card was at my husband’s seat . Waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious made to our perfection. The atmosphere was adorned In festive Christmas attire as the fireplace gave off a warm flow.

We had 8 diners and all went well. The food was hot and yummy. Our server offered selection of beer for a few that were uncertain which to choose. We will visit again for sure.

First time to Josephine’s for a Special dinner out before the holidays. Food and our server Nate were wonderful and we will return. One word of caution-happy hour at the bar is 4:30-6:30 and it was crowded and extremely noisy. The Hostess seated us next to the bar and we couldn’t hear ourselves talking. After returning to the hostess she moved us to a quieter table away from the bar area. Very accommodating and she totally agreed. Looking forward to returning

Truly excellent steak and seafood in a cozy and elegant setting. The cocktails are great, the wine list extensive, and the service was amazing. Sides are big enough to share which means everyone can pick their entree and eat family style veggies, mac, and more.
