The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. We celebrated our anniversary and notified them when making the reservation. We were treated very well and were provided with a couple of nice surprises. The food and service was and has always been exceptional. The remodel makes the check in process much more welcoming and faster. The Del Bar is one of the best restaurants in Wisconsin and we highly recommend it.
