Both the gumbo and jambalaya are second to none…. Will keep coming back for more. More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.6
- RRexWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.More infoThe Pink DoorPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Belltown / Pike Place Market•4.8

- VVickiSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is that the lights were WAY too bright. When one has an evening meal in a lovely setting - it shouldn't be necessary to wear a ball cap so the lights don't glare in your eyes. Besides the regular hanging lights which were pretty bright - there were can-lights in the ceiling with very strong bulbs in them. This really ruined the ambience. Made it feel more like we were dining in a cafeteria instead of a steakhouse. All - in all, that is the ONLY thing that made this meal deviate from being absolutely perfect. The chef even made my salmon well done - as I requested. (I know they don't normally appreciate cooking something differently than what is considered proper.) But, I REALLY appreciated that. The calamari were excellent - fresh and tender. My 'extra dirty' martini was even perfect. This is our go-to place for bringing out of town guests because we know the food and location make it a very special place to eat.More infoDouble Eagle Steak and SeafoodPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Sequim•4.8
