Restaurants near Museum of RAF Firefighting

Our experience was so good that i made an account just to leave this review - The food was genuinely amazing, i’ve been really missing the food I had in Spain with my girlfriend and her family but Ole Ole made me feel like i was back in Denia - so much so that my girlfriend said she felt at home here. On top of this, the staff were so kind and helpful and everyone seemed to truly love their job and each other - it’s a family run restaurant and you really do get that homely feeling while you’re there. I had a lovely chat with the one of the Sons who work there (forget to get his name) but he was a really nice dude and seemed passionate about making the restaurant as good as it can be. I will definitely be back, I haven’t been here since they had a place on the bailgate years ago and I am kicking myself for not going back sooner!

Wow the food was amazing, the service was brilliant and the place is lovely, great value for money, it’s nice to dine in a traditional restaurant and there isn’t many in that area of town, the majority are more fast food restaurants with Pizza, burgers etc! highly recommend 👍

Tried the new menu, it was absolutely spectacular. Never going to mailbox again. Walkabout’s new menu tops everything i’ve ever had from anywhere else.

Had such a lovely dinner with my partner here the other night!! I had the tofu salad and it was amazing, my partner had the smothered chicken and it looked delicious. The atmosphere was fun and lively, staff were helpful and kept making sure we were having a nice meal. Would definitely recommend slug and lettuce in Lincoln will be back soon!!

No frills food, of excellent quality. Prompt and friendly service. Does exactly as described. Exceeded our expectation.
