- KKathyGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTable was ready on time. Server was very personable. Food tasted good. We were there for a birthday and they were nice enough to bring out a dessert with candle. Went to bar for after dinner drink and bartender very personable as well. I love Newport in the winter.More infoMidtown Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport•4.6
- ZZacharyGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a great experience at the Igloo Village. We had the option to pick which Igloo we wanted, they were all excellent choices. We picked the one with the best view of the harbor. Service was great, we had an excellent server that seemed to really enjoy his work. Service was very fast, it was a quiet night in the restaurant which probably helped. The the Igloo was very cozy, they had a Bluetooth Speaker so you could enjoy music, it had a heater and fireplace. They did not rush you out, you get 2 and 1/2 hours when you reserve. Such a great experience, would be even better with more people but the two of us really enjoyed it.More infoIgloo Village at The Reef - NewportPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Newport•4.6

- JJohnGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025The hostess who greeted us was very friendly. Our server was very courteous and professional. Our meal was delicious, and the cost was not too high. Due to the holiday, the restaurant was not crowded at all. The ambiance was excellent—a very romantic spot for a date night. I would definitely eat here again if we are in town.More infoThe ReefPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport•4.1

Our server rushed in an order of oysters to get the ‘buck a shuck’ deal before 7. Great service! Our food was all excellent thought I’d have liked a bit more on the plate 😀More infoScales & Shells - NewportPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newport•4.5
