Best service I’ve received in a restaurant ever. Food amazing but pricy for what it actually was

Sunday roast was very good, roast sirloin of beef and belly pork roast had a lot of flavour with plenty of vegetables and gravy. Yorkshire puddings are tasty and the cauliflower cheese is lovely and cheesy and included in the price. A very good quality meal for a very reasonable price.

Despite being exceptionally busy in the weekend before Xmas, we were seated quickly, our waitress was extremely helpful, friendly and prompt with service. The festive menu had good choice although our group of 6 are from the Al l’carte as well. Food was excellent and piping hot, despite the restaurant being rammed. A pleasant buzzy, festive atmosphere.

Great value £20 menu. Food quality was excellent, really attentive service. Good variety of alcoholic & non alcoholic cocktails. The decor is great, the toilets are fab! Always an enjoyable experience and safe bet for great food & service.

Beautiful building and lovely restaurant. Service was professional and friendly. The food was well presented and very tasty. Just felt it was a little on the expansive side for what it was, but everywhere is expensive these days. The bill for 4 people was just shy of £300 for lunch. Only had one drink each ( one of them wine others were soft drinks), so £75 each for 3 courses was for us quite pricey. We would return, but only for special occasion.
