- LLynnCoastal Georgia •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCelebrated my wife’s birthday. We had WONDERFUL evening which was made very special with the help of our waiter Harper. We couldn’t decide between the 3 of us who wanted what entrees. Harper suggested we order and then split between us. It turned out to be a great suggestion. Micheal Anthony’s is a very special restaurant for any occasion.More infoMichael Anthony's Cucina ItalianaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hilton Head Island•4.8
- RRhondaVIPCharlotte •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFirst came perfectly chilled martinis. Everything that followed was delicious, but if local pecan crusted flounder with brown butter sauce is a special, order it. Ours came with three large filets served on a copious bed of perfectly cooked green beans accompanied by a yummy square of parmesan polenta. While the Caesar salad was tasty, topped with white anchovies, it had a bit too much of what appeared to be pre-shredded packaged parmesan cheese. For the price, some freshly shaved parm & house-made croutons would have been better. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the pear & arugula salad. There was also a good selection of desserts but, alas, we had dined to well to have any. Kudos to the chef et al in the kitchen & to the bartender. All the rest of the CQ staff, from hostess to servers & bussers, were welcoming & efficient. And, your evening will be made even more perfect if you are seated at a table that includes Michelle as your wait person. Her warmth, efficiency & sense of humor was delightful & topped off a most wonderful evening.More infoCQ'sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hilton Head Island•4.8
- CCharlesVIPSouth Carolina •35 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoEvery dish we had was outstanding. The duck breast was cooked perfectly. The double pork chop special was tender and flavorful. The escargot was an unusual preparation - in more of a cheese sauce but was also had very good flavor. Portions were very large so we have enough for another meal. Both desserts we tried were outstanding but again very large. Service was also outstanding. The restaurant was not not full so I do not know how service would be at a busy time but we had perfect service. The time between courses was longer than we typically like but the food was perfect.More infoChez Georges Bistro & BarPrice: Expensive• French• Hilton Head Island•4.9
- TThomasCoastal Georgia •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had three appetizers, the Fried Clams, the She Crab Soup and the Escargot. All were wonderful, served with delicious warm French Country Bread to soak up the juices or eat with butter. We also had a Chardonnay and Riesling to pair with them. Then we had the Seared Scallops and the Filet both served with a side salad with great dressing, mixed vegetables, and scalloped potatoes. We swapped plates half way through, so we both had a bit of surf & turf. I changed my wine to Cabernet which was wonderful with the beef. We split Carmel pie for dessert also great.More infoCharlie's Coastal Bistro (L'etoile Verte)Price: Expensive• Seafood• Hilton Head Island•4.9
