We brought our adult daughters along for our annual anniversary/holiday dinner, and they only added to the validation of how amazing this restaurant truly is. One pescatarian, one vegan, both satisfied and smiling! Chef made a custom vegan dish just for us, and it was fabulous. Great drinks, wine, appetizers… love sitting in the bar, too!More infoRistorante MassimoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portsmouth•4.8

I had the rigatoni, and my husband had hake fish dish. Also enjoyed a couple of spirits – Japanese whiskey and local bourbon.More infoRow 34 - PortsmouthPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Portsmouth•4.7
- KKenVIPGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAnneke Jans is a gem, especially on a cold, snowy evening. The valet service was much appreciated—it was seamless and made arriving in the frigid weather so much more comfortable. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service matched the setting. I ordered the special, a unique seafood dish, and it exceeded my expectations. It was hearty, hot, and absolutely delicious—exactly what I needed on such a chilly night. The flavors were well-balanced and thoughtful, showcasing the kitchen’s creativity. Overall, Anneke Jans delivered an exceptional experience. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy yet elevated dining experience.More infoAnneke JansPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Kittery•4.8
- KKenSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoEverything was perfect, the restaurant has such a homey old time feel. All the staff was super welcoming and it had been noted on the reservation it was my wifes birthday and they all greeted her with happy birthday and the birthday card on the table was a very nice unexpected touch. The food was beyond fabulous!!!! Loved the fire place smell, and the environment was perfect, alive and folks having conversation but we could very easily have a private conversation at our table. Post dinner walking the Strawberry Bank grounds all lit up for the holidays was an amazing fun bonus.More infoThe Puddle DockPrice: Expensive• American• Portsmouth•4.8

The food is consistently delicious - my husband had his regular 36 ounce long bone rib eye and I had pasta. And the service is second to none. Christina always makes us feel like home.
