Judith is a new American tavern pairing warm hospitality and the cooking of James Beard Nominated Chef Julia Sullivan (Henrietta Red in Nashville) located in the quiet area of Sewanee, TN near the University of the South. The name is an homage to Judith Ward Lineback, the first woman to matriculate into the University in 1969.As Sullivan’s first solo project, Judith will feature a seasonal menu of creative and approachable dishes including a selection of small, shareable plates perfect for the bar crowd. This was our first time at Firebirds. We came to celebrate our anniversary and we enjoyed everything! The hostess was friendly and very nice. Our waitress was very thorough and thoughtful. We loved how they helped us celebrate today. The food and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back

Both of our waitresses were very friendly. We got our food in a timely manner. The only thing that would be negative is hearing the waitstaff complain out loud about low tips. Maybe talk somewhere else away from customers.
