Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. Our first experience at Wiseguys was Christmas Eve dinner and it was fabulous from start to finish. We were late making plans so our original reservation was for the enclosed patio but we received a phone call that they had a high top reservation open up so we were so happy to take it! The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holiday but would be very nice any time. We each ordered something different: shrimp scampi, blackened fish, scallops, and Brussel sprouts. Everything was well presented and delicious. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, our service was exceptional. Our server checked back with us often and our drinks stayed full. This is a place that we plan to return to!

Favorite restaurant on HHI. Always excellent service and food. Server Amanda treated us great. We had pan roast oysters with sherry cream broth, roast oysters ,Monkfish with wild mushrooms sauce, ,very good, blackened redfish, even better, also half priced bottle of wine night, Desert, pave chocolate, caramel cake, and cream brûlée. We have been dinning here once a year since the 70s. When Charlie’s was where the sea grass grill is now.
