Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. We had a great dinner with my dad. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. We always enjoy eating at Tao. We are never disappointed. It was my dad’s first time and he loved all the food we ordered and the decor. Thanks for being consistent and always making our visit enjoyable.

The food and the service were excellent. We had the Local Beets salad, Calamari Fritto Misto, and the Lump Blue Claw Crab Cake. All were tasty and nicely presented. And the draft Guinness was delicious and expertly poured.
