Gusto Ristorante is a Northern Italian restaurant with a touch of the South at the Sea Turtle Marketplace in Hilton Head Island.The executive chef and owner Giancarlo Balestra with his wife Nancy bring the vibrant flavors of his native hometown of Rome, Italy to Hilton Head. The couple who met in Rome 28 years ago discovered their shared passion for food and adventure and have since owned and operated restaurants in Aspen, Co, Winter Park, Fla and Saratoga Springs, NY. Excellent food! Classic Italian and absolutely perfect in every way. Smaller restaurant, loud when full which it was. Took a little to get our check, but it felt like they didn't want to disturb us not that we were ignored..and they were very busy. Def coming back next visit.

My husband and I have been to WiseGuys numerous times over the years and have never been disappointed. The food and service is above and beyond in such a great setting. We enjoyed the porterhouse with whipped potatoes and asparagus. Delicious! For dessert we shared the bourbon bread pudding. Amazing flavor! We will be back.
