- AAshleeSacramento / Sacramento Valley •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEveryone who worked for the restaurant made for an amazing experience from check in to the final moments when we were given roses. Food and drinks were great, I ordered the Cuddle fish drink which was delicious along with a cup of clam chowder and the Captains plate. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding!!! Thank you for a great night!More infoOld Fisherman's GrottoPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Monterey•4.8

- AAshleyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •33 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe celebrated our anniversary at Montrio last night and it was fantastic! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, we were sat in one of their beautiful booths next to the wine racks and we loved the location. The food was also wonderfully executed... we started with the French onion soup (yum) and mushroom arancini (had a hard time finding the mushroom flavor, it tasted very much like a cheese stick, but was tasty). Entrees were the NY steak (husband loved the fries and accompanied sauce, felt like the spinach was way too garlicky) and the petit filet (so tender, cut like butter, sides were perfection). We finished with the bread pudding dessert which was so good! Overall, a wonderful meal, highly recommend and will most definitely be back on our next trip to Monterey.More infoMontrioPrice: Expensive• Californian• Monterey•4.6
- SSteveSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025Visiting a restaurant on a pier at a world famous destination as Monterey, one could think it would be too touristy for delicious cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised to receive attentive, friendly and comfortable service. Appetizers from octopus to roasted garlic was prepared to delight our taste buds The wedge salad topped off by in house dressing, crispy bacon, crisp and fresh, and large to share for two. Both entrees, stuffed salmon and pan prepped snapper, surrounded by fresh sauces and veggies were enjoyed that night and the next day, generous portions. Menu pricing, in today’s world was also unexpectedly competitive. We look forward to our next visit.More infoDomenico's on the WharfPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Monterey•4.6
