Restaurants near Promenade Classique

Lebanese Taverna is one of our favorites over many years. We enjoy the food and the attentiveness of the wait staff. The Valentine's Day special was superb. Nice selection, far more than we could eat, so we can enjoy again at home. We suggest that on a weekend (Fri-Sun) making a reservation for an earlier time (like 6PM).

Not staying at the hotel, it was difficult finding our way to the restaurant, but everything else was excellent. The menu is small and mostly casual food, but it is well-prepared and affordable considering the service and the view. The salads and flatbread for appetizers were excellent. The burger was also excellent and the crab cake sandwich above average. Along with a glass of wine, the average cost per person was around $50, a great price for an establishment like this in DC.

They have had since 1856 to perfect the art of service. They have not wasted a bit of that time. We had a server and he was fantastic. With that, the entire brigade worked as a fantastic machine and supported the goal of quick and perfect service for the guest. I have never had apps arrive so quickly at a restaurant before. I even threw another order in while ordering our main course and it was on the table 2 minutes later. The quality of the food is top notch as well. The roast beef sandwich had a bit of bite on it that was unexpected but definitely not unappreciated. As I was dinning with my 13 year old son tonight, I also appreciated the non alcoholic options on the drink menu. It was great to have a delicious option that wasn't a soda. Overall, this is a MUST for any visit to DC.

Everything was great. The food was delicious, the server friendly, and the ambiance was just right. We had a large table for a family gathering. We always come to Chevy’s when the family meets. They are terrific!

Food and Service was great. I would recommend it to my friends.
