Restaurants near Quarry Head Park

This has been our favorite restaurant from when it was in New Canaan and Darien and now in Cannondale. We love the food, the waiters and staff, and the Owners. Angela and Sandy Baldanza are our friends, and we love them dearly. You know that they are doing something right because their staff, brothers Mario and Lauro, have been fixtures here for years. From our greeting when we entered to the last bite, everything was exceptional! We enjoyed the appetizer special that was chilled lobster with shrimp, avocado, shaved radishes and orange slices in a lemon vinaigrette on a bed of radicchio . The contrast of flavors and textures were impeccable. We both enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara with fresh black truffles. The nutty aroma of the truffles with the silky texture of the carbonara was intoxicating. I wish these are experiences that stay on the regular menu.

If you’re in Ridgefield this is the place to go. Great service, food, ambience and music. Don’t complain about prices, you get what you pay for!! Bailey’s is a great value.

Everything perfect however the upcharge for Valentine s Day pre fix , double any other night was a bit steep. Will be returning on regular nights not holiday prefix anymore

What a find. We live no where near South Salem, but saw this place on Facebook and decided to give it a try for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had no real expectations, but it had to exceed any we MIGHT have had. The food was delicious and the decor warm and welcoming, BUT the best thing about the la Vista was the wait staff. Everyone one of them showed that they truly love what they do. They all were so attentive. We liked it so much we're going back next weekend wand we're bringing some family with us.
