Restaurants near Richmond Inn and Suites

It was my wife's 71st birthday. She had the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. She loved it. I had a taste and I agreed. I had the Surf & Turf and selected the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak and the Ahi Tuna. First, the carrots and mushrooms were delicious. The Tuna was great, especially with the ginger and horseradish sauce. The steak was a little gutty, cooked well and had a good taste overall but I wasn't overly impressed. The potatoes were good but nothing to brag about. We had a bottle of their Malbec, very nice. A little over priced and I thought there was a little too much pushing on the wine club. I was surprised that there was not even a small token desert for my wife's birthday. And when we were well into our dinner we realized that we never got any bread before dinner. Overall though I would go back, but I'll be a little more demanding. I prefer a laid back approach and expect to get great service across the board from start to finish. Our waiter was courteous prompt and we did not have to wait for anything.

This is the third Jeff Ruby establishment I've been to in the Cincinnati area, and it was on the same level as my previous experiences at The Precinct and the now-defunct Waterfront. Excellent service from our server Christopher. He was very attentive and his recommendations were perfect. For sides, he said his favorite was the creamed corn, and that was phenomenal. I ordered the boneless ribeye and wanted to do it with chili rub and he recommended it on the side. At first I was confused because I assumed the chili rub was a dry powder rub so I didn't really understand how it would work on the side. But he assured me that the chili rub, while good, you may want to have a break from while eating the steak. So I went with his suggestion and I was glad I did! The rub is more like a paste and it was great for the steak and I was able to apply it as liberally or sparingly as I saw fit. For drinks, I had their "Mingling with Mezcal" and "Pear-Vanilla Old Fashioned." Both were sublime and the Mingling with Mezcal is one of my favorite cocktails I've had in recent years. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Jeff Ruby establishments. I was visiting from New York and Jeff Ruby's steaks are right up there with the best New York steakhouses.

Perfect in every way possible. Clean and silent environment, with a good, precise and fast service. The food is really tasteful and there is a pretty considerable menu. The prices are affordable and not that expensive for the quality of the place. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Dayton area

Great date night! We had the Big Oscar Filet and the Black Truffle Filet for our mains. The mushroom risotto was delicious. The house made dressings on the salads were great. The crab cake napoleon was a wonderful starter. We finished with the carrot cake and chocolate cherry cheesecake cake. Both were perfect finishers. Our waitress was perfect with drink orders and getting our food out at the perfect time. She was very social when needed. The environment was nice and enjoyable. We were able to have a conversation and enjoy our time there. Well worth the visit. Thanks Jag's!

First time going to any Red Lobster, will definitely go back again. We received a gift card over the holidays, was surprised over the amount of food for the price. My only complaint is the booth seating isn't very comfortable for plus size guests. I didn't ask about being seated somewhere else because I only saw tables for larger groups instead of 2 people.
