The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Never disappoints! We come to Kingston once a year for the polar express and this is a must for pre-ride dinner. Food is amazing as well as the drinks. Highly recommend!

As always, we had a wonderful dining experience. From being greeted so warmly at the door..to being served by a wonderful waiter and assistant and then having an absolutely sumptuous meal we were absolutely delighted! We had the chicken mousse pate and the crab cake special for appetizers and the salmon and 1/2 duck la orange, a delicious cabernet and shared the chocolate mousse dessert...beyond yummy!!There wasn't a morsel of food left!!

We enjoyed the opertunity to have dinner at the Hoffman House. It is n old structure and I believe they made the most of the space available. The food was very good, really everything was very good.
