- VVanessaVIPNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manhattan Valley with a group of friends, and it was a fantastic experience all around! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and the service remained top-notch throughout our meal. We started with the vegetable samosas, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside and packed with a flavorful filling, they were perfectly complemented by a variety of chutneys that added an extra layer of depth to each bite. The chutneys ranged from tangy to sweet, and each one paired wonderfully with the samosas. For the main course, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Masala, along with rice and garlic naan. The flavors were bold and fresh, and each dish was made to perfection. The chicken in the tikka masala was tender, and the shrimp in the masala was juicy and succulent, absorbing the rich, aromatic spices. The rice was fluffy, and the garlic naan—soft and warm—was the ideal accompaniment to soak up all the flavorful sauces. The food was so good that the table went quiet for a bit, everyone too absorbed in their meal to speak! But beyond the food, the service was excellent, with attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, this was a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend Manhattan Valley for anyone in the area looking for fresh, flavorful Indian cuisine with great service. We’ll definitely be back!More infoManhattan ValleyPrice: Moderate• Indian• Upper West Side•4.2

I urge the Columbia and Mt. Sinai Morningside community to go down just one block below 106th and you might be surprised.More infoMiss SaigonPrice: Moderate• Vietnamese• Upper West Side•4.3
