Restaurants near Roslyn Historical Museum Society

We have enjoyed dining (and breakfasting) at Kingfisher at least a dozen times over the years. This was no exception. It remains a welcoming, handsome and comfortable space to visit. The service is friendly, efficient and top notch. The food is delicious. My concerns relate to the pricing. $20+ dollars for a glass of wine is expensive even by Seattle standards. The prices of the entrees aren’t bad (mostly in the thirties), but everything else is extra-vegetables, potatoes. The result is the entree looks very lonely on the plate. Some thought to garnishing (i.e., plating or presentation touches) would be a welcome improvement. And while it’s not uncommon to charge extra for a vegetable dish, an included potato, rice or even fruit element would be helpful. We’ll be back, but I do hope some thought will be given to these well intentioned suggestions.

It was a busy weekend at Suncadia Lodge but they got us right in. We had a delicious meal of black & blue brussel sprouts, scallops and Ahi tuna. Our server was lovely. It was our birthday weekend and she made our dining experience special and festive.

Food was outstanding. Service top notch. One of our steaks was cooked more than we ordered and they replaced it immediately without us asking. Will definitely be back!!

Stopped at Hoist House after a gorgeous chilly hike for a birthday lunch. We had a window seat, and a delicious meal. French onion soup was devine, and the cobb salad was perfection. We loved pairing it with a Malbec and a seasonal wine flight. Our server was attentive, gave great recommendations and made sure our birthdays were memorable. Thanks Hoist House! We’ll be back!

Food was nicely prepared and as is typical....it was overpriced resort food and beverages. It is what it is when you dine where you stay.
