Restaurants near Rossmoor Walnut Creek Golf Course

This evening with friends in this beautiful Lafayette neighborhood French restaurant was delightful. We have been here many times and always find wonderful new dishes that surprise me each visit. As a result we often share dishes just so we don’t miss out. Black truffles over scallops served on a bed of risotto was a favorite tonight.

Went to Prime Rib at The Garden for my Birthday. Would like to start off by saying, Prime Rib at the Garden just opened two month ago. They have a few things they need to work out. Customer service is not one of them. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly and attentive Hostess. Shown to our table, immediately our Server Jason appeared. Wonderful table side service. Jason was knowledable and professional. Of course this is a prime Rib establishment so that’s what we ordered, medium rare…when then prime Rib arrived it was very rare! And I mean red as in not cooked enough. We had to send it back, but before we did the Manager came over and personally apologized for the meat being to rare. She took both our plates back and presented us with two completely bigger cuts than originally ordered. Second time was a charm. The salads were amazing. The side dishes were hot and quite delicious. We will return. As I said in the beginning they are working things out. Give them a try and see for yourself.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and wow, the service was great, the food was amazing, and we loved the creative cocktails. We were so impressed by the Elia staff and their attention to detail. The special menus noting his birthday was our first surprise and he loved the sparkler candle at the end. We will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely loved the rooftop. What impressed me was a minimal menu. We had a large group and all the food was worth the value. Not cheap, so the execution of each dish was outstanding. Highly recommend !
