It’s simple really, our calling card is sustainable Scottish seafood. Our name comes from the Gaelic word for fish. It’s a wee bit tricky to pronounce, but it’s no bother if guests don’t get it quite right. With delicious fresh produce served by our very own Head Chef, Sean Currie, you'll feel the energy in the way we go about things – our warm welcome, enthusiasm for what we do, and, of course, a splash of Glaswegian banter.Serving sustainable Scottish seafood is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why £1 on every bill goes to The Firth Forth Lobster Hatchery, who hatch, rear and release lobsters to ensure stocks remain plentiful for future generations. If your looking for a warm invitingly happy place to eat with high quality sauces to accompany your supper fresh fish Kelp needs to be your go to joint! The service is knowledgeable and attentive with out being overbearing. The food is a fireworks display for you taste buds much over used word but umami bursts of each different plate but each with its own unique flavour profile. Stand out for my the rhubarb and ginger on the oysters, the mussels in a broth to die for and the capper onion sauce on the market fish!!!

Good food, piping hot and served quickly. Reasonable prices. Also, the toilets (gents) were clean and tidy—always a sign of a well-managed restaurant. I am sure the ladies toilet was the same, but I didn't see them.

Service was excellent as was the food. The restaurant was quiet when we were in as it was early on a Wednesday evening, but we had a lovely experience as we had such nice people at the next table.

Lovely atmosphere, starters great especially the prawns. Seabass great but Steak average though. White wine only 11% volume. Tiramasu brilliant. Good value. Will go back but I will check the wine volume first. Overpriced for 11%.
