Restaurants near Saint Francis Sunken Lands State Wildlife Management Area

We attend Porch & Parlor Prime for our Anniversary for the first time. Our Host Blake was the best. The ambience indeed restaurant was everything. The food was all around perfect and came out hot. Every dish we tried was a100. We will definitely be back to dine soon.

The lounge is represented as a “speak easy” and they have captured that vibe. From the front it looks closed. You enter from the side through an “alley”. Inside the theme continues with plush couches and curtained dining booths. The staff were courteous and the food was good. There is a limited menu with good choices. It appears the menu will change as this week’s was dated. There was live entertainment and they played good jazz. (the music was just a bit loud) The other thing we really enjoyed is that people were dressed up! What a refreshing change from ball caps and jeans!! We will go again!

The atmosphere was upscale. I love the variety at the salad bar. The majority of the meats were very tender, we enjoyed the Portuguese sausage, bacon wrapped chicken, parmesan steak, and the flank steak. The offered sides were delicious I would have liked some sweet tea, being that we are in the south. The rolls lacked flavor and color and I'm not just saying because I'm a trained pastry chef. Overall the table enjoyed the restaurant. Thank you and your great servers.

Food and service were great. Neat concept - serving food as a flight, as well as serving wines like that. The table was kinda small - we both had wine flights and dinner flights that took up a lot of room. Very noisy. Don’t plan on having conversations.

It was just dinner with my mother while she visited. Overall the experience was exactly what you expect in a chain restaurant but our server was somewhat distractable and slow.
