We were treated to afternoon tea. A gift voucher from our son and new daughter in law. Not that we had paid I thought the price of the afternoon tea for what we got was rather expensive. Not a price I would have paid. The tea was quite nice, my wife had a pot of tea and I ordered coffee. On the menu it stated a pot of coffee. All I got was a cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly, but didn’t come to ask if everything was ok. It was a nice experience but having had afternoon tea in other places it was expensive compared to other venues.

What a gem in York. Outstanding service by Sebastian. Guided us with drink and food pairing after getting to know our likes. Food was great. Presentation also on point. A must visit in York!

Great place to take your partner. Nice food and ambience. Waiter added a complimentary dessert for the wife on her birthday.

Beautiful food as always, service very friendly and professional. We come to Cote every New Year’s Day when we stay away for a couple of nights so we visit them in different locations. Staff had worked late the pervious night but were still very attentive.
