Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. It is always an exceptional experience at the INN. The meal was delicious and had a perfect balance of flavor. The entire waitstaff is delightful and attentive, and their friendly demeanor and genuine care create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We eat here several times a year for many years. They have the most professional wait staff of any restaurant we have ever been to. They also will "split plates" at no extra charge which works out to half price meals. As seniors we don't overeat any more so his works out perfect for us.

We went as a family to celebrate Christmas Eve. We booked as a party of six, but one of our party bailed, so we were only five, which led to our disappointment that they still charged a fixed service charge. Additionally, for half the meal, the music was so loud, we could not talk. Once past this, our food and service was great and we all had a great time.
