Originally from Mexico City, Chef Fernando Olea, formerly Chef of Epazote, has been enthralling diners in Santa Fe since 1991. Chef Olea creates sophisticated flavors using Old Mexico’s indigenous and culinary traditions alongside ingredients from around the world. The staff went out of their way to make my mom’s birthday dinner special! A toast, a little soup (since she didn’t order a first course), and a lovely piece of lemon cake with a wish, completed the meal. We will definitely be back as it is an institution of Santa Fe!

Our group of 5 was well taken care of by Ally, one of the best wait staff we’ve had in ages. And everyone else who served us was great too, attentive and friendly. The food was creative and delicious. The drinks were special. The dining space was relaxing, quiet, and full of art. We all had a memorable time and would certainly recommend.

Our entire experience at Red Sage was great! We arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before our reservation and were seated right away. It was my birthday and the two staff members that greeted us gave me a very cheerful "Happy Birthday" Our server Gabriel was great. He came around several times to check how our meal was and if we needed anything. Our meal was delicious! I was treated to a delicious slice of carrot cake by our waiter Gabriel. We really enjoyed our time at the Red Sage and will definitely be returning.
