Food and service are always great at Doolittles! I always enjoy my visit!

I met 3 friends for lunch. We shared 2 meatballs as an appetizer. They were fantastic and 2 meatballs were plenty for an appetizer. Our meal orders were all over the menu. All were delicious but the winner was the "Minute Chicken". We shared the Banana Pudding for dessert. There was plenty to share and was the best banana pudding that I have ever had. The place was packed on this Tuesday for lunch, but our server, Jessie, treated us as if we were the only table in the house. I can't wait to go back.

Definitely a step above a typical shawarma / gyro place with a full menu of Mediterranean dishes. It is also weirdly enough a local watering hole with an extensive beer and cocktail menu and a lot of folks hanging out and playing pull tabs. I would recommend making a family style meal of the many small plates available so that you can try a little bit of everything. If you are already familiar with the mezza table, the food is solid and a fairly basic representation of the cuisine. There are certainly more authentic/gourmet places to eat, but probably not at anywhere near the very modest price point of this establishment. For two of us with a drink each and a sampler platter to split (which was perfect for two modest appetites) we walked away for 40 bucks, which is hard to do for a sit-down meal these days. . The atmosphere is a bar, and not particularly romantic or a great place for a quiet conversation. It is a good place to get together with a bunch of people.

Classy space and friendly staff! Their pop up restaurants/menus are a really fun part of the experience. I would go here for casual dinner or a special event!
