- JJason TPerth •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe bucket list restaurant exceeded all expectations. We were treated to an extraordinary journey through Australian native ingredients, presented in dishes that were both reimagined and masterfully crafted. Each sample dish showcased beautifully balanced flavors and textures, making every bite a delight. The attentive and knowledgeable staff guided us seamlessly through the tasting menu, explaining each dish and the origin of its ingredients—some of which were handpicked. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with the restaurant’s owner, chef, and staff, who shared their passion for food with us that evening. It was truly a memorable experience.More infoAtticaPrice: Very Expensive• Australian• Ripponlea•4.9
- BBronwynVictoria •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDonovan’s continues to maintain the highest level of food quality and service. Each dish sings with flavour and you really do want to make each mouthful last. Fresh takes on traditional cocktails make them a unique taste sensation and great wines enhance the food selection. Today we had dessert and coffee on the terrace which further enhanced the dining experience. Our waiter, Oliver, was a charming and knowledgeable member of staff offering professional but warm and relaxed service. He definitely added to the experience. I think Donovan’s continues to deserve its place in the upper echelons of Melbournes fine dining scene.More infoDonovansPrice: Very Expensive• Modern Australian• St Kilda•4.7
- SSaratMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe ordered Saffron Arancini, Flat bread and Oven baked potatoes as Entree. Food was really great and tasty. Arancini probably felt bit overpriced but given its quality and taste , it was a winner. For mains we had Pumpkin risotto, Grilled veggie pizza and Gnocchi. 10 out of 10. Staff were very friendly, especially James who had a nice smile and very helpful and enthusiastic. Overall it was a great dinner. Definitely coming back. - KKevinMelbourne •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoHaving dined at Elwood Bathers many times, the luncheon today can only be described as OUTSTANDING in every way! The Chef and Kitchen team excelled with the King Prawn Sliders and the Fruit di Mare main course, sans prawn and seafood shells, was eye opening and something I have never experienced at any other fine dining establishment in the WORLD! Congratulations and thank you for providing our family with culinary excellence!More infoElwood BathersPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Elwood•4.7
