How do you take a classic staple of American dining, the steakhouse, and break down the traditional thinking to create something entirely new and exciting? Chef Miguel Rivera has been working in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. Subsequently, around 20 of those years have been spent cooking in the well known Italian restaurant IL Mulino NY, previously located inside of Caesars Palace in the forums shop.Some amazing opportunities I've experienced include being a part of the Vegas UNCORK'D by Bon Appetit for five consecutive years. Previously, IL Mulino NY has been nominated for the titles of Top Ten Italian Restaurants in the country and Best Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas. Also, the American Academy has graciously awarded my cooking with the "Golden Plate Award". My goal for Gondola is to incorporate new flavors of Italian cuisine from the Las Vegas Strip to your local neighborhood.     Another wonderful evening at Al Solito Posto. Starting with the Olive Oil dip seasoned at the table. The bread is delicious by itself, but with the dip it’s heaven. We recommended the Chicken Marsala to the friend who was joining us. We all ordered it and we all agreed it was excellent. Apple Crostata was enough for the three of us. For Chocolate lovers we love the Chocolate Hazelnut Semifreddo. Both desserts were delicious! We will be back soon!

    A gem of an Italian restaurant, top notch in every way. Not pretentious but a white tablecloth experience. Food is always homemade and delicious and the service is attentive. Located in a small commercial strip mall in a quiet neighborhood, it’s worth checking out!

    We were there for a special Christmas menu. Very well priced for a very nice meal. The prime rib was gorgeous, as were the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. The yorkshire pudding was -- unfortunately -- an overcooked and brittle shell. A misstep that didn't ruin the meal by any means, but it's not something that's often offered on American menus and I'd been looking forward to it as a component. Outstanding service -- the staff are always great at Honey Salt.
