Restaurants near Snowden Park

I’m always here during Thanksgiving week and before I head back home. It’s close and good! Service was on point as usual. The food was plentiful. They give nice portions and the flavors are there! I love that the food is made from scratch. We also had wine & cocktails. Introduced my sibling who lives in L.A. and travels around world. He was surprised at the quality and pricing. I WISH the was a location near New York! I would even drive to NEW JERSEY.

Once again, a truly memorable experience We were seated on time and greeted by our waiter within minutes. As usual, the food was great. At our table, we had pork chops , ribeye, and strip steak. Everything was perfectly cooked to our preferences. The fried green tomatoes, as an appetizer may have been the best fried green tomatoes we have ever had Ivan, our waiter was amazing. There when needed, but not intrusive. Definitely will be coming back soon. 

This was our second visit. We had a reservation and were seated immediately at the same table as last time. Without a bachelorette party next to us, the ambiance was much better! Our server was friendly and attentive. The salad and bread were fresh, and a delicious start to our meal. The steaks were prepared perfectly. The salmon’s preparation is unique, resulting in a rich and luxurious entree. I’m still trying to find a side dish that I like…maybe next time. Three desserts came to our table: the Grand Marnier Chocolate Cake, the Salted Caramel Brownie, and the Strawberry Cake. I will always pick the Strawberry Cake, as it’s a light and refreshing end to the meal!

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Busy but the wait was acceptable. Once we checked in it went very quickly. Our waiter was Ben. Very friendly and professional. Ben explained the menu and the variety of choices. He was attentive checking back in reasonable intervals. Andrew was our server and every bit as professional as Ben. They work well as a team. Aside from the wonderfully enticing regular menu which was difficult to pass on, we went with the Thanksgiving menu. It was after all Thanksgiving. The turkey was tender and moist with a nice cranberry sauce. The stuffing was very good as was the butternut squash puree. There were also two crusted lamb chops. The food was excellent. To sum it up, the Meat Market is a great experience. Not only great food, but you're in a trendy neighborhood, great for shopping, people watching. When combined with Ben as the server, it makes for a very memorable evening.

Phil,Travis and the staff are absolutely phenomenal;The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Food quality/portion is well worth the cost. I highly recommend it to all .
