Italian inspired cuisine in a charming and beautiful country setting with outdoor dining all summer and a covered heated tent in the winter. Our stone terrace with large fireplace nestled between aromatic herb and flower gardens makes for a beautiful setting year around.Upon booking, please select either an indoor or outdoor table. "Standard" refers to an indoor table. If an outdoor table is not listed, the patio may be booked at that time.     The nightly specials are amazing. I had the Rockfish. It was cooked to perfection and the veggies served with it complimented it nicely. A little loud inside the tent, but other than that, 10 out of 10!

    Amazing meal to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful and feels like a very nice but comfortable environment. Amazing transformation of the building! And a great addition to the Midlothian area! Stella was extremely personable and helpful with her suggestions. The steaks were excellent, as were the Buratta appetizer and all sides. Excellent meal - but a pricey one (as any classy steakhouse would be) Also enjoyed the special Cab Franc bottled for the restaurant - excellent pairing! We look forward to returning to celebrate another special occasion!

    Service was exceptional. I ordered a filet mignon wrapped with bacon but the bacon was burnt so caused the entire steak to taste like charcoal and although i had ordered a medium rare, the meat was dry. My fiancee had ordered a filet mignon with garlic and it was perfect. The mac and cheese was just average but the lobster bisque was good.

    I have dined and all of the Boathouse Restaurants in the RVA! They all come with their own uniqueness. The staff; ambiance and customer service is impeccable. Our server (Hayden) was knowledgeable of the menu, drink selections and just overall amazing, He truly attended to our every need!!
