- AAlexEssex •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024We chose black rock for my sons 18th birthday meal. The food was fantastic, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. The table for 4 was a little small and 2 of us had to straddle the table leg but that didn't deter from our experience. Definitely worth choosing the stone over cooked to order was the consensus.More infoBlack Rock RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Steak• Clacton-On-Sea•4.8
- FFrancesLondon •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024Duck pate was delicious, turkey was great, good selection of veg, and the creme brulee very tasty. Come early as car park gets very busy. Staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble and nice with it. Not my first visit and won't be my last either!More infoThe Old Siege House Bar & BrasseriePrice: Expensive• European• Colchester•4.6
- DDavidNorfolk/Suffolk •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 17, 2024Friendly and attentive staff. Only reason to not give top marks was that there was quite a delay to receiving our order (possibly because of peak Christmas shopping time). We couldn't relax as had to leave earlier than intended due to other appointment). Staff very apologetic. We would still go back.More infoCarluccio's - Fenwick ColchesterPrice: Expensive• Italian• Colchester•4.7
- EEstherEssex •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Michelin star quality food in a relaxed, intimate and stylish restaurant. Here’s hoping it becomes Essex’s first Michelin star restaurant soon. Food was superbly cooked and presented. They serve a set tasting menu only so ensure you are up for trying new tastes.More infoSTARKPrice: Very Expensive• Modern European• Colchester•4.8
