Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches.     We've been to two brunches since my last review about our dinner dining experience in early November. Both brunches have been delicious and the staff much friendlier and helpful than in past visits. The changes management has made shows that they care and take customer feedback seriously. It has certainly renewed our loyalty and love for the vineyard. The egg, salad, meat, and side dishes were very tasty and overall the ambience and environment makes for a wonderful dining experience. However, I'd stay away from the sourdough bread appetizers or entrees as these dishes continue to need some refining. Overall, Farmers Commons is a great choice to enjoy the vineyard and all its beauty. So I'd recommend planning a leisurely day to enjoy all the Vineyard at Florence has to offer.
