Clementine serves weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner every night on our main floor and patio (weather permitting) until at least 9PM. Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    The place is of course unique and the food is amazing. The meatballs are out of this world and the truffle soap was so good. Avery was very professional and made all the right suggestion which we followed and truly enjoyed. Highly recommended for sure

    Our family in Harrisonburg has raved about the Local Chop & Grill House for years and we finally got to learn why. What a lovely place for a special Christmas meal and what incredible food. Everyone had ribeyes and all were almost fork tender and perfectly cooked to our requested medium rare. The trio of roasted mushrooms were a tasty addition to my steak. The chevre mac 'n cheese was luscious, as were the duck fries. Several diners relished seasonal cocktails and we all loved the salted caramel creme brulee. We were tucked in a cozy alcove and our meal was not hurried. Our server was very good though a local missed the personal touches offered by previous staff. This is a wonderful restaurant for a special meal and I will happily return.
