From building society, to bank, to BEAR – this ornate old banking hall site on Derby’s Iron Gate stood empty and forgotten for 9 long years… until we came along.BEAR Iron Gate, Derby sits slap-bang in the centre of the city’s iconic and beautiful Cathedral Quarter; the original hotspot for high-quality food and drink. The structure is traditional but the Decor is very, very modern. Sometimes you get what you pay for, yes price a little higher than your average restaurant but the quality of the food and service is excellent. If your looking for something a bit different and a real treat I can highly recommend giving this a try, we had the 3 course menu and every plate was delicious from start to finish, will definitely be returning 5*****.
