We pride ourselves in being one of the top steakhouses in the Hudson Valley, we age our meat in house, and get fresh seafood straight from NYC twice a week and have a great selection of craft beer and an extensive wine list. PLEASE NOTE reservations are required on weekends and holidays. We do require a credit card when booking for groups 5 and larger.Our seasonal outdoor dining is now open. We recommend bringing a sweater for the evenings in the Catskills tend to get a little cool and we do not always have the ability to move folks inside on weekends. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts.     The Phoenician Steakhouse is our go-to spot when we are in the Catskills. The service is consistently friendly and the food reliably delicious. The owner, Mike, can often be seen in the kitchen cooking and overseeing the food preparation. We have our favorite dishes — the beet salad and panko crusted mozzarella, and the steaks, pappardelle bolognese and osso bucco ravioli. And of course the tiramisu. But any new thing we try such as last night’s squash soup and clam chowder, are also winners. In the summer we love sitting on the back patio.

    This has to be the best restaurant in Tannersville/Hunter. The food is incredibly fresh, innovative and thoroughly enjoyable. We had the veal parm (which was not your ordinary veal parm)....on the bone and shareable. Absolutely delicious. The french onion soup -- nothing comes close ... the artichoke salad and Caesar where perfection. Of course the octopus was as delicious as always. Highly recommend -- I can't leave without mentioning the awesome drinks ... Winter Warmth (a cinnamon margarita) is hard to explain how good it was.
