Restaurants near Summit Free Public Library

Good food and service. Summit needed a place like this!

It’s our first time at this place, even though we’ve been seeing it for over two decades. In short, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, as it was light but very flavorful - not as salty as we thought we’d get from almost any Italian restaurant we’ve been to, some of which are very good in their own right. However, this lightness in taste stood out, be it the prosciutto in the salad or the clams in pasta. We’ll come back for sure.

It's pretty great that New Jersey now has the opportunity to enjoy the popular Eataly without going into NYC. Food was fantastic and the restaurant is stunning. Staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating to a disabled person like myself. And if you don't want to eat at the restaurant, you can enjoy shopping in the market or eating in the cafe area with choices like pizza, gelato, and more. Definitely go check it out.

I had a wonderful experience as a I went to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day with my wife. Mr. Charles was an excellent waiter that was very attentive and checked in on us at perfect increments. He also went above and beyond in making any necessary accommodations that were needed. The Short Hills location has been the best in New Jersey area. Dining here has always been a treat but we recently had a weeknight dinner for 6 and it could not have been better. Everybody’s food was as amazing as ever and the staff just had that bit more time and attention (from smaller crowd, slower pace) that the experience was fabulous. We felt truly “welcomed” and “served” like guests / friends rather than just customers. Reminding myself to get here more often! BYOB. Everything’s good but my faves are the bang bang cauliflower, 7 Spice Tuna, and Brussels sprouts salad.
