My twin sister and I celebrated our birthday here on Tuesday night and we were treated like royalty from the moment we pulled up to the valet. Upon entry, we were greeting by the beautiful hostess who confirmed and advised our table would be ready shortly. We were led to our table by the hostess, who then presented both of us with a beautiful birthday card from Steak 48. How thoughtful! Afterwards, our waiter presented the amazing bread to the table. Our waitress then arrived and recorded our order and checked on us constantly throughout the night. The care and concern for our dining experience made our birthday dinner spectacular! We will definitely return for another great experience!!

It was my first time at this restaurant. We ordered whipped eggplant with that famous “balloon”bread that is sooooo delicious! We also got Broccolini, Wild Mushrooms, Scallops and squid-ink Pasta. everything was delicious but Broccolini and wild mushrooms really stood out for me and my boyfriend. The Tiramisu was a bit heavy, I am used to a smoother texture but the delicious taste was there - not too sweet and right amount of espresso.

Another excellent experience at Maple Block. Service was fantastic and the brisket and chicken were delicious. We loved that the pulled pork didn't come out drenched in sauce--it had just enough to balance the fatty pork.

New Years Day and we wanted some place that we knew would be fantastic, so where else but Gjelina? It was busy but the hosts and servers were unfailingly polite. We ordered 6 things from the menu. My wife's vegan so she had the vegetable sandwich (she had to fight me for it, it was so good). Brussel sprouts, grilled fennel, and the frites were all great. My son and I split the anchovy and burrata toast - a first for me - and it's my new favorite. Finished with the excellent pomodoro pizza - no cheese and none needed, because the jammy tomato confit is the star of the dish. I love this place. It never lets me down. Happy 2025!

Excellent. I have been there 30 years ago and it was a delight to go again it was a very nice experience. Loved the sand dabs fish and they serve the best mash potatoes! The steak fries are to die for. My son said it was the best New York steak he ever had. He was turning 14 years old. He will always remember Dear John’s and his bday celebration. The cheese cake was delicious. And the wine list is exquisite. I just can’t wait to go back !
