The food we had was delicious and the presentation was wonderful. The service was great too. We all enjoyed our dishes of tuna, trout and a tuna tartare and Grouper. Grouper was a small piece and not very big but tasted great.

We have been here before and loved it but it had been a while. We decided to go back, then I read some of the bad reviews, and almost decided to go elsewhere but thought, nah, I want to see if its really that bad now. Honestly, it was great! We had an early reservation (5:45) and arrived around 5:40. We walked in the door and was seated immediately. They weren't very busy for a Friday night, I'm assuming because of some of the recent negative reviews. The staff was very friendly, our appetizer (bacon wrapped shrimp) was awesome and whatever they gave us to spread on our bread was next level! I ordered a ribeye cooked medium, and my wife ordered the boneless grilled chicken breast and both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly! We both ordered the garlic mashed potatoes loaded and the reviews were spot on with this though... They were bad, but with a lot of salt and some pepper they were edible. Mesquite Chophouse, y'all have to fix this!!! Potatoes aren't hard to make... Like at all! No flavor and they really did make us wonder if they were instant. Not to mention it cost me an extra $8 just to have them as my side. A steak should come with a side, but anyways, our experience was excellent! I would recommend maybe trying to beat the crowd if you plan on dining here, it worked out great for us! Also, the chefs name is Blair, I think, and he gave me the best steak a restaurant has given me in a long time!!! Good job bro! I hope management has started working out some of the issues other customers had but we didn't have any problems tonight! Thank you guys for an awesome experience and date night!!!

There isn’t a restaurant around that has better food or service! It is excellent!

Shared the caprese salad to start and the taste, with some beautiful basil was quite good. Especially the homemade balsamic drizzle. Wife had the lobster tail and it was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and light. I had the 6 oz filet, and it was tender, cooked the way I asked, and with zero waste. Ate every bit. Service was spot on.
