Restaurants near The Hotel Aria - Mountain View

We celebrated a good friend's milestone birthday at Il Fornaio in Mountain View. The restaurant went above and beyond to make our celebration special. They surprised us with the private dining room for eight, which we didn't even know existed. The room was perfect for our group, and the food and service were outstanding. Our waiter was very professional and on top of things. He made sure that we had everything we needed, and that all of our courses were served in a timely manner. The food was delicious, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

A great place to have small gatherings. Not recommended if you were in a rush. Even with without a wait time to be seated, my experience was 90 minutes for two burgers and fries. Kitchen took a little longer than anticipated. Still, would return four the ambiance

Was there for a very special anniversary dinner. Originally was taken to a table crowded between many other tables and a very noisy part of the restaurant. I was surprised a table was placed there because it was not easy to walk between the tables to get to this table. The hostess saw our shocked faces for the table and quickly took us to another table in a quieter part of the restaurant where a there was no worry of backing a chair into another party. We’ve sat at better tables in the past, more private, but this was ok.

Amazing food and service! A must visit place if your are in downtown Palo Alto

We went to Cabana Cove restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday with a dinner treat. We enjoyed the holiday dinner menu, which offered good value (especially the ceviche) and excellent service. My friend was craving chips and salsa, which weren’t on the menu, but manager Alejandra surprised us by having the chef prepare them for us. And the best part? They didn’t even charge us for it. We ended up having the New York strip and halibut, though we weren’t impressed with the dessert selection. The staff were fantastic and paid extra attention to our needs. We’re from SoCal and will definitely return the next time we’re in town.
