Restaurants near Magnificent Mile

The wait staff were amazing. Our server gave great descriptions and suggestions for ordering. The family style service provided a great opportunity to taste and try a very tasty variety of starters and main dishes. We had a large group of 12-6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from about 17 months to 17 years of age. Drinks and food came out as they were ready and gave everyone plenty of time to enjoy. The venue has a warm and welcoming vibe in sync with the warm and welcoming staff. Looking forward to our next visit!

The restaurant we originally reserved cancelled for our party of 14 an hour before. We were lucky enough to get a reservation via OpenTable for our group and make it there in time to celebrate a birthday and honestly, everything was amazing! The food was great, the service was even better! GRACE was phenomenal. We had a big group, our reservation was late in the evening, and she handled everything phenomenally. We were sat at 2 long tables next to each other and Marcus covered the other table (full of indecisive teens) and he was great! Swift, responsive, and polite. I can’t say enough good things about the service we received.

One of the best meals I had this year. The pork and salmon were absolutely delicious. Tortillas were even amazing. I wasn’t quite happy with the drinks and while service started off great, it was slower towards the end of our visit. I will be back soon to explore more of the menu.

This is our favorite place in the city for many reasons. The drinks, the food, the look and feel of it, but the number one reason we keep coming back is the people who work at RL. It was a wildly busy evening this last time we came in and while many would have folded, the team went out of their way to take care of us. And that’s what sets this place apart. You’re cared for here. We were listened to and made comfortable. It ended up being a wonderful evening all thanks to obviously the food and drink, but mainly each employee we came in contact with. Come for the lush martinis, the perfect dover sole, the rich wood and dim lights but keep coming back for the people.

Our experience at Joe's was excellent from beginning to end. We were greeted by the maitre'd as if we were one of their best customers and were seated at a booth that we sat in the last time we were there even though we did not request it. The service was impeccable as we were not rushed even though the restaurant was very busy. The timing of the food from beginning to end was at comfortable pace and the food, including salad, grilled seafood and a steak, was perfectly prepared. The general manager of the restaurant even came to our table to welcome us. All in all, it was one of the best dining experiences of the year, and we visit many restaurants throughout the year.
