- DDillonSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMe and my girlfriend came here for our anniversary and we loved it. It was on her list of restaurants to try so we had to go there. I loved the food and the server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After letting the hostess know it was our anniversary, the staff made it very special and included a glass of champagne and dessert. One of the better steaks I’ve had also. If I could have 1 thing that I personally did not enjoy it would be the music and the volume of that music. It was “House” music and just didn’t fit the vibe of a typical steak house. But that’s totally a personal preference and in no way should take away from how awesome the restaurant is.More infoHuntressPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.5

- DDavidVIPSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCallie is one of, if not the, best restaurants in San Diego. Fine dining has shifted post-COVID but Callie does everything at a consistently high level. The food is interesting, layered, often surprising, and delicious. Wine and cocktails are similarly high quality and creative. Service is outstanding. Now this is what you would expect for a restaurant probably averaging $150 per person but, if you love restaurants, you know you can pay that price in San Diego and not have a satisfying experience. My wife and I ate at Callie recently for our anniversary. Staff had a handwritten card for us thanking us for celebrating at their restaurant. It's the extra, above-and-beyond that makes Callie great.More infoCallie RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.8
